ODCC has done this before, see photos from last outing here.  This time... its outdoor go karts!!!

The Karting event on Sunday October 24, 2010 will be at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia.  The meeting point will be Red, Hot, & Blue at 12:15  to leave for Summit Point at 12:30.  It is about a 45 minute drive.  This is an open Karting day so we wil be on the track with other participants, but they wil keep us together.  Each karting session is 11 minutes, which is equal to approximately 16-30 laps on the Washington Circuit and costs $25.00 per session unless you have or buy a membership which result in lower costs.  If you are a member at All Sports Grand Prix in Sterling there are also reduced prices.  Summit Point will provide karts, driving suits and helmets, but you can bring your own if you desire.  Additional information can be found at http://www.summitpointkart.com/.
